This 3-star Training and Assessment BCU course (British Canoe Union) is ideal for sea kayakers, wishing to build on their existing paddling skills, improve their technique and expand their knowledge of equipment, navigation and emergency procedures.
The course includes lectures and instructions, but is dependent on favorable weather conditions. Upon demand, full board accommodation will be provided.
You will get the chance to explore amazing locations on the west side of the peninsula, while improving your paddling skills.
Classes will typically consist of no more than six-person groups with one instructor, who will assess the group’s capabilities and plan accordingly, depending on skills and weather conditions.
The itinerary is non-paddler friendly, family and friends are more than welcome.

The day of your arrival after settling down, we will introduce ourselves properly and go into the courses details, the territory, the equipment, time schedules etc. Q and A will follow.
- In the morning we will go over the basic theory
- Choose equipment, warm up and start paddling
- Lunch Break, regain our energy levels
- Sum up and brief about the next day
- Rest, evening meal
